One day they will print something like 1R for a 1/1 that has some annoying set theme mechanic like delirium-tap to put a 1/1 elemental with haste into play, sacrifice it at end of turn and suddenly Intruder Alarm will make Splinter Twin look slow and weak

With that said, if we ever do a hard reset on Modern and unban everything, it might be fun to come out of retirement for some Snapcaster Misstep action
